The Yard Baseball and Softball Training Facility,Inc. is an indoor training facility located in Roanoke,VA. Our Professional Staff is led by former Milwalkee Brewer George Canale. We offer Individual and Team training in all aspects of the game for both Baseball and Softball players. Go to the About Us page to see our entire staff and testimoials from some of our customers.

The Yard has batting cages and mound areas available for use for both members and walk in customers.

We also offer facility rentals for both baseball and softball teams to train with their coaching staffs, or our professional staff.

The Yard will hold the following clinics during the month of January,and will also running the following special: Anyone signing up for a three month(Jan, Feb, Mar) Silver, Gold , or Platinum Membership by this Friday 1/8, may attend any one of our one day clinics listed below for free. This special will only run while space is available in these clinics.

You may also register for each of these clinics individually for $25.00/player if you do not want to do the special.

1/11 - 7:00 - 8:30 PM - Baseball and Softball Hitting Clinic for ages 7-9 w/ Dale Mollenhauer and Kevin Griffin

1/13 - 7:00 - 8:30 PM - Baseball and Softball Hitting Clinic for ages 9-12 w/ Ricky Gregg and Kevin Griffin

1/18 - 7:00 - 8:30 PM - Baseball Pitching Clinic for ages 13-15 w/ Mikey O'Brien

1/19 - 7:00 - 8:30 PM - Baseball and Softball Fielding Clinic for ages 7-9 w/ Dale Mollenhauer

1/25 - 7:00 - 8:30 PM - Baseball Pitching Clinic for ages 9-12 w/ Mikey O'Brien

Two Day Pitcher/Catcher Clinics:

These clinics will be one day pitchers only with the pitching instructor, one day catchers only with the catching instructor, and one day combined with pitchers and catchers. Pitchers and catchers may come as a pair or register individually, the cost for these clinics is $60.00/player.

The Yard's will be open to members and the public during the following hours this winter:

Monday - Thursday 4:00-7:00

Sunday 1:00-4:00

We are also starting to reserve times for teams to use the facility this winter, call us to ask about available times.

The Yard also offers the following packages for hitting,pitching and catching lessons. Lessons are 45 minutes to an hour long.

1 Lesson - $50.00

3 Lessons - $140.00 ($10.00 savings)

5 Lessons - $225.00 ($25.00 savings)

10 Lessons - $400.00 ($100.00 savings)
